Lucky $2/$5 Jackpot Lottery
When can I play Lucky Lotteries?
You can play whenever you want. Just buy your tickets and wait for the jackpot to be drawn!
How does it work?
It’s similar to a raffle; you buy a ticket in the Jackpot of your choice and when all the tickets are sold the prize is drawn. The highest jackpot win to date in the $2 Jackpot Lottery is $16,320,000, won on 6 October 2009.
In both the Lotteries 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes are drawn. Smaller prizes are then drawn all the way down to $10. Special bonuses are given to those tickets one number either side of a cash winner – $1,000 for being one away from the 1st prize number and free tickets for a future Lucky Lottery for the others. So even if you don’t win any money, you might get another chance!
After the initial draw, from all the tickets a single jackpot number is drawn. If the number drawn is one of the winning numbers from the initial draw, that person wins the jackpot! If the number drawn is not one of the original winners, then the jackpot increases for the next Lottery draw.
One of the best things about the $2 Jackpot and $5 Jackpot Lucky Lotteries is that you don’t have to share your winnings with anyone – the winnings go to specific ticket holders.
And with tickets so cheap, why buy just one?! Multiple entries can be purchased in a sequentially numbered fashion or you may choose random numbered tickets.
$2 Jackpot Lottery
225,000 tickets must be sold for the jackpot to go off, and draws are
$2.50 per ticket
You can buy tickets up to 10 draws in advance.
Minimum jackpot of $500,000
$5 Jackpot Lottery
180,000 tickets must be sold for the jackpot to go off, and draws are
usually every week or so.
$5.90 per ticket
You can buy tickets up to 2 draws in advance.
Minimum jackpot of $1,000,000
Because of the way the Lucky Lotteries are run, the prize listed when you purchase tickets may already have been drawn. Even though there may be a delay between the drawing of winning numbers and the buying of tickets, there is always a great jackpot!
